Part of a series of uni projects to create illustrations from life references.
A second year project which involved visiting Carlisle cattle market while the annual "British Blue" show and market was happening. The idea was to observe these "magnificent beasts" first hand in order to document their power and majesty as well as the owners/sellers and magic of the atmosphere. I loved the dappled "blue" colour of their coats, and chose to make this a main feature in my responses.
