UK Wildlife // Red Fox Studies

I was glad to finish some paintings from one of my own personal projects this week - the first in a UK wildlife series, the red fox. I am aiming for a slightly more traditional, non-fiction approach with these but that still has my own contemporary style. What do you think?

Sealife/Crustaceans Series: Edible Crustaceans as Educational, Scientific Illustration

Personal work. Playing around with my crustacean series (so far!) Here they are complete with their Latin scientific names, such as those seen in textbooks and vintage scientific illustrations. 

I would like to add some mussels, winkles and maybe oysters too.

It seems these guys could be right at home both in a science book or on a quirky restaurant menu.

Sealife: Green Sea Turtles // Educational Illustration for children

Personal/self-initiated work. More sealife! As with the crustaceans, I am currently exploring a more educational approach in my work. These green sea turtles are aimed at children - could you see them in a children's 

book or magazine? Let me know what you think!
