 Amy Holliday: Illustrator & Artist

"Amy's enthusiasm in her work is evident. Her illustrations speak to a spirit that shines with the voice of its author. Amy handles her medium with a lightness that suits the subject matter beautifully, and lends to it a quality of emotion that displays an empathy for her subject. Her illustrations are exquisite, very confident and defined with a fully realised personal style." - Computer Arts Magazine

Shortly after completing a BA (Hons) degree in illustration, Amy won first place of Computer Arts' ‘Graduate Showcase Excellence Award’ for 2011. Within the year that followed, Amy became represented by internationally acclaimed illustration agency, Lemonade, whom she was represented by for a number of years. Since then, her work has continued to be applied to wide range of international projects and commissions.

Amy works from her cosy home studio in Carlisle, England. Her work is created traditionally before being scanned and completed as a digital image. Her passion for art is fuelled by her affinity for animals and conservation, her fascination with nature and science, and rich colour.
