Promotional/Business Postcards

 I recently designed some postcards to use as a form of self-promotion. I ordered them through Moo.com and they arrived the other day :) They're not totally perfect, (there's a bigger gap than necessary at the bottom on the reverse and some of my logos are a bit out of place,) but I'm quite happy with them.

Eggs! (Chicken Eggs!)

I had a go at painting some eggs to accompany the chickens, I'm hoping to do some feathers as well. It was nice to paint food/produce again too. I was unsure about leaving them completely natural or adding in their date stamps...so I did a few of each.



I think I prefer the ones with the stamps 'cause they seem to have a bit more character, let me know which ones you like best! The way they are arranged give a different effect - so I played around with them:

Chickens! - The Rooster

I finished the rooster/cockerel yesterday...his colours are a lot brighter than I anticipated! My reds don't seem to scan well or edit well for some reason either, and I have no idea why!

I hope to paint some eggs and feathers too. Paired up, the hens and rooster don't look too bad together-

 I've been working on some chicken designs lately - here are the hens. I have a rooster in the works too but its taking a while to get right! I think I'll be adding a bit more to these before I will be happy to call them finished, but here they are for now!

Proud Love! (Peacock Three)

 I had a bit of an experiment with one of the peacocks...and tonight, I finally got around to scanning it. I wanted to see if I could go for an even more abstract approach.
